If we are to believe a report from Britain's Car magazine, Audi is planning to introduce a mid-engined sports car called the R5. Said to be positioned between the more mainstream TT and the flagship R8, the R5 is believed to be based on the VW Group's forthcoming MiMo (as in "MittelMotor") mid-engine sports car platform, which will also be used on future Porsche and VW models.
The same inside sources imply that the R5 will be available in both coupe and convertible forms, with styling cues borrowed from Audi's E-tron and E-tron Spyder concepts.
The R5 is said to measure only 3.9 meters (153.5 inches) in length, or roughly the same as a Lotus Exige. Being super-compact in dimensions means that weight should be kept low, and that is a definite advantage. The entire history of Lotus is based on this concept, with considerable success.
The 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged mill, sourced from the TT-RS, would most likely be the range-topper. With somewhere around 350 hp (261 kW) on tap, it would surely deliver "the goods" in a lightweight sports car. Smaller displacement inline-fours such as the 2.0-liter TSI, should also be in the mix.
I wouldn't exclude a hybrid variant either, as "green" sports cars are becoming increasingly popular these days.
We still have a long way to go until we hear something official about the R5, but we'll keep an eye open for any developments.

Here is the biggest sculpture ever made with recycled materials ! It took place in Granada, Southern Spain, in may 2010. The same record had been broken in Huelva (Spain again) just a couple of weeks before.
The event was sponsored by the local council and RESUR GRANADA (the waste treatment company for the province) and held in the Sciences Park of Granada. The students of the Facultad de Arquitectura de Granada (Granada’s Architectural College) had designed an impressive castle shaped sculpture. Via
Over 5,000 primary school children had collected around 50,000 milk cartons (tetra packs) and the 3 winning schools, that is the schools who had collected the most cartons, attended the ceremony and got to see the final product of all their hard work. The winning school had managed to collect 4,500 bricks in just the two weeks they were given.
Dimensions were 29 metres (95 ft 1in) in length, 14.07 metres (46 ft 1in) in width and 7 metres (22 ft 11in) in height.

Import Export Trade Is Important
When I first graduated from college, I never expected to spend much time working for an import and export trading company. I was hired for a one time, lucrative contract job with just such an outfit, and I figured that it would pay some bills and then be over with. The import export trader was pretty friendly, and the project was interesting. Basically, I was commissioned to write a program that handled every aspect of their import and export trading. Like many businesses around the world, their software was piecemeal and convoluted. They had different programs running for invoices, financial records, sales, and everything else. It was a nightmare, and naturally the paperwork was often inaccurate and incomplete. This cost them time and money, and they wanted to do something about it before they suffered a major crash.
As part of my work for them, I went to a couple imports and exports trade shows to get a sense of how the industry worked. Strictly speaking, it wasn't really necessary for my import export trade assignment, but I thought it would be helpful to get a handle on the business before I started in on the technical aspects of the project. I was completely blown away by what I saw. Import export trading is extremely exciting. I have always had a weakness for strange, exotic goods from around the world, and they were there in abundance (among more conventional fare). Import export trade would allow me to use my analytical skills that I learned as a programmer, while captivating my imagination. I was hooked, and I resolved that after I finished that project, I would apply for a more permanent position.
Unfortunately, I just simply wasn't qualified for a position as an import export trade merchant. I didn't really have a business background, and I wasn't fluent in any foreign languages. That is why I decided to start an import export trade business of my own. I simply began to buy and trade commodities during my many vacations and business trips around the world. Soon, as I accumulated more connections and more resources, I could do more with import export trade. It wasn't long before I was an expert on Southeast Asia, importing beautiful textiles, spices, and musical instruments for Western consumers. I had great logistics support from a friend in the trucking industry, and soon I owned several warehouses with excellent regional distribution. My hard work has definitely paid off!
