Even when the market is full of supercars and many are on their way, another one is coming from Canada. The first official pictures of the vehicle you see here are of a 1:4 scale model from De Macross – fledgling Canadian company established in 2009 – dubbed the GT1.
De Macross’s GT1 has been developed in collaboration with component manufacturer Multimatic and will be powered by a mid-mounted supercharged 5.4-litre V8 sourced from American company Roush Yates Racing Engines.
De Macross’s GT1 will have its chassis made of carbon fiber and aluminum, which means that the car will be light but will offer a hefty amount of structural rigidity. GT1 will be a limited edition and only 200 units will be made at the max. No pricing details or performance figures are available at the moment, but the company claims that these will be comparable to what the mighty Pagani Zonda offers.
