LaCie unveiled the new Wireless Space, a shiny black monolith created by designer Neil Poulton, who serves as both NAS and Wireless Router. The device can be used for backup wirelessly from a PC or MAC, being compatible with Time Machine, or for sending streaming media files in the hard disk drive via UPnP and DLNA protocols.
As for network connectivity are 4 Ethernet ports in a dedicated connection to the Internet via ADSL modem, while the WiFi is compatible with 802.11 b / g / n. There were also three USB ports, two rear and a front for connecting additional devices. Wireless Space is available in capacities of 1 TB or 2 TB, respectively $ 229.99 and $ 349.99, about 175 € and 267 € plus taxes.
